Introducing the London Local, Lifestyle Coach and Personal Training Brazilian Fitness Superstar Diva, Andreia Brazier.
Andriea (27 years old) is the current WBFF Physique World Champion and rightly so! One look at this woman and it is the clear the evidence is right in front of you. From head to toe Andreia is the leading Inspiration to female’s world wide and an obvious heart stopper and jaw dropper for males in every gym in every city of every country.
The team at the House of Supplements were lucky enough to land some private time with the Superstar herself as she kindly agreed to answer all of our questions! For the full interview see below:
[Q]: What influenced you to get into competing?
[A]: I was losing my motivation, I was bored and depressed so I decided to compete to lift my motivation. Before competing I had already been training for 15 years, I am a lifestyle coach and personal trainer in London. I also help run a Nutrition Plan and Training website called Total Body Conditioning that helps people all over the world acheive great results!
[Q]: Who is your biggest inspiration in the industry?
[A]: To be honest I don’t really have anybody that I look at and say “oh this is my inspiration” alot of regular people give me my motivation, it’s not all about fitness. A lot of people give me so much strength and inspiration.
[Q]: Do you have any supplements that are staples in your diet?
[A]: The only staple supplement in my diet year-round is my post workout protein shake that I love to have with L-glutamine. When I’m training leading up to a competition I like to use L-Glutamine in the morning with my Multi-Vitamin, then I use L-Carnitine before and after my workouts. Since my first competition in April, 2012 I have also recently starting using Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs).
[Q]: What are your plans for competitions next year?
[A]: I will compete again next year at the WBFF World’s in Las Vegas to keep my crown, I think it’s going to be massive, the biggest they’ve ever done!
[Q]: Do you have any plans to visit your Fan Base in Australia?
[A]: Yes, I am going to come to Australia in April. I will be working down there in Sydney for Supplement Distributors Flush Fitness, I’m excited! Next to the United States I believe I have the largest number of followers in Australia!
[Q]:Where is your favourite place to train at?
[A]: One of my favourite places to train is a gym in London called Ultimate Performance, and when i’m outside of London there is a great gym in Dubai called 24.Fitness which I will be running my own training classes out of while I’m living there for 8 weeks over next year! It’s really nice bodybuilding and Olympic lifting gym! Perhaps I’ll do the same in Australia too!
[Q]: What is your favourite body part to train
[A]: Well, I’ve been enjoying training my chest quite a lot. It’s a new part I’ve started training recently. I’ve always trained my legs and my abs, when I work my chest I do heavy dumbbell presses and bench presses. I also enjoy using cables and push ups in my routines, it’s easier training my chest because when I have to work my legs and abs I’ve got to kill it! Variation is the big key in my routines.
[Q]: What do you think won you the WBFF World title ?
[A]: I never expected to win, I was surprised with how well I went! The judges were looking for a Diva Fitness Model that had the whole package. They were looking for the best body proportions mainly, however everything counts such as hair, make up, the right tan and stage presence!
[Q]: What kind of music do you listen to when you workout?
[A]: I love to listen to music because when do it makes me feel good and helps me to push myself so much harder! When I do listen to music I listen to Dance music in similar styles to Artists like Chris Brown, but I also enjoy Rock music and I like Hip-Hop too.
[Q]: What does your day-to-day diet look like?
[A]: I follow Total Body Conditioning, ‘Tom Brazier’ Company moto and mine, “eat clean, train dirty”. I always keep protein high in my diet no matter what phase of training I am in. I generally keep carbs to a moderate level and only start to restrict them even more in the lead up to competition. My favourite types of food are generally high protein, high good fats and low in carbs so its not a major problem in keeping to my nutritional plan. My daily diet looks like this:
Meal 1:BREAKFAST; 2 SLICES OF RYE BREAD, LOW FAT COTTAGE CHEESE, 50G SMOKED SALMON
Meal 2: SNACK CNP PRO DESERT CHOCOLATE
Meal 3: LUNCH 120G CHICKEN & SALAD
Meal 4: SNACK HAND FULL OF RAW NUT
Meal 5: DINNER 120G SALMON STEAK, VEG
Meal 6: SNACK NO ADD SUGAR JELLY
